This page explains what customer content may be processed by AI features and what customers should review before using AI on sensitive data.
When AI is used
AI features are used when a creator asks Formalingo to parse a document, generate a form, draft or improve content, classify a document, or map imported data. The relevant prompt, uploaded content, and context needed to complete the task may be sent to the configured AI provider.
Current provider posture
- The application is provider-agnostic through the Vercel AI SDK.
- The current configured model path uses Google Gemini through Formalingo server-side code.
- AI outputs may be stored in the workspace as form questions, document fields, generated document content, parse results, or planning sessions.
Training and customer content
Formalingo does not use customer content to train Formalingo-owned AI models. Third-party AI provider handling depends on the provider terms and account configuration in effect for the deployed environment.
Customer responsibilities
- Do not upload regulated, highly sensitive, or third-party confidential data to AI features unless your organization has approved the workflow.
- Review AI-generated forms, fields, and text before publishing or sending them.
- Use non-AI document and form editing workflows if your policy prohibits third-party AI processing.
